Our Commitment
As a healthcare technology company, we believe access to information should be universal. We are committed to conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility Features
This website includes the following accessibility features:
Navigation and Structure: Semantic HTML5 elements, logical heading hierarchy (H1 through H4), skip-to-main-content link on every page, ARIA landmarks and labels for all interactive regions, and breadcrumb navigation on interior pages.
Keyboard Accessibility: All interactive elements are keyboard-focusable. Focus indicators are 3px solid and visible in all color modes. Touch targets meet the 44×44px minimum. The mobile menu can be opened, navigated, and closed entirely by keyboard (including Escape key).
Visual Accessibility: All text meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios. The site supports prefers-reduced-motion: all animations, scroll effects, and premium visual effects are disabled when this preference is set. The site supports forced-colors mode and prefers-contrast: more for users with high-contrast preferences. Font sizes use relative units and scale with browser zoom up to 200%.
Media: All images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with aria-hidden="true". Videos use facade patterns that don't autoplay until explicitly activated. Background videos respect reduced-motion preferences and do not autoplay on mobile devices.
Forms: All form fields have associated labels. Required fields are indicated both visually and programmatically. Error messages are announced via role="alert" for screen reader users.
Color: Information is never conveyed by color alone. Interactive states use shape, underline, or icon changes in addition to color changes.
Conformance Status
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. We regularly test using a combination of automated tools and manual testing with assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
